I’m Lisa Servilio, and I create pottery out of my studio in Bigfork, Montana, against the backdrop of the Swan Mountains. I have a passion for incorporating art into the routines of daily life. I believe that we can imbue little bits of magic into our lives by choosing to use lovingly made, handcrafted vessels.

In my current practice, I seek to blend the whimsical and fantastical with elements from my surroundings, drawing inspiration from the valleys, forests, and mountains of the northwest. Through an alchemical process, ideas are transmuted into lumps of clay and then into objects of permanence. Along the way, there are never-ending opportunities for freedom, experimentation, and surprise. My ultimate goal is for the joy of the creative process to be felt by the holder of the final piece.
